How come nail polish applied to toenails lasts longer?

Whenever I paint my toenails and fingernails the polish on my fingernails starts to fade first, why does this happen?How come nail polish applied to toenails lasts longer?

you do hands

(as in work with your hands)

Okay.

Try to think of ALL the things your hands have come in to contact with today.

...

It is a LOT of things.

Now;

think about what your toes have come in to contact with today.

...

well most likely, that list includes socks and air.

Finger Nail Polish just gets rubbed off easier, because you use your hands so much.
because you're not using your toes and feet to write or to use as much as your fingers and hands. as well when you shower or bath, you don't scrub your feet as much. you wash your hands on a daily base too.
I think it is because you cover and protect your toenails while your fingers yoy hit and chip on things. Not ot mention they are exposed mor eot the elements and soap ect.
Because you wash your hands a lot and use your hands for a lot more things than you do your feet.
your feet aren't as exposed as your hands and you constantly do things with your hands :)
Your feet aren't used to constantly pick things up and stuff.
Think about it. Common sense
