Can you lose a leg due to ingrown toenail?

can you lose a leg due to ingrown toenailCan you lose a leg due to ingrown toenail?
Hypothetically yes you could if the infection was left untreated and spread to your blood stream. WIll it happen............probably not.Can you lose a leg due to ingrown toenail?
Yes, thats what my grandmother got. She has to lost her leg. due to inflammation of the toe.
yes you can and even your life. reason is that if the problem gets worse and infection arises the infection can infect the blood stream and cause some type of cardiac arrest. and the end. SO GET IT TAKEN CARE OF SOON, LIKE TODAY.
no, you can not. you however, can cause inflammation of the whole foot because of the ingrown toe nail. It also can become infected, where you would need antibotics. The risk of getting an infection and with it being your foot, you could wind of with a staph infection, which is more serious. That then could lead into a more serious infection, but not likely. Many people go a long time with an ingrown toe nail. They usually don't see help, until it hurts past a certain point.
Are you?
if the person is diabetic its possible or if the toenail becomes infected which in turn makes u septic(infection of the blood)
If you get a very badly infected toenail and it turns gangrenous or you become septic, then you possibly could. If you have an ingrown toenail, take care of it by either putting antibiotic cream on it and bandaging it up or going to see a doctor and having them deal with it.
You can treat an ingrown toenail...if left untreated it could spread infection to your foot and leg! This could slow the circulation to your foot and leg and cause gangrene! If your foot and leg start to appear black, it is not good! I would advise you to get treatment before this stage or you could lose your foot, leg, or your life! I lost a good friend to this after a blood clot broke loose and went to his heart!
