ingrown toenails hurt i know (i actually have one right now). you need to clip it out for one but if it hurts too bad soak it in warm water with some epsom salt (really cheap at most grocery stores) and massage the skin down so the nail can come out better for you to clip it. also heat helps loosen it. i once had an aunt get a gallon plastic bag and a napkin soaked in hot water and put the bag on my foot tied on there and it worked great to relieve the pain and help it be clipped out. if you don't fix it fast the only help is surgery. good luck! i'm doing this as i type. How do you fix an ingrown toenail?
i hav had two ingrown toenails and i know how you feel, you need to go and see a podiatrist and they will giv you local anesthetic and they cut a slice of the side of your nail and then put a special acid on it so another one will not come back.
P.S. it doesnt hurt at all even after you hav had it done it just feels a little weird but after a week or so it will feel just fine the in about a year you toe will look perfectly normal.
Well.
Your best option is to just go to the doctors.
I had an ingrown toenail once, and they basically just numbed my toe with a needle, and used a scalpel to cut the toenail that was underneith my skin.
Overall procedure didn't hurt, but a needle getting stuck directly into the tip of my big toe didn't feel too great. =P
