Does that Lamasil stuff really work if you have a rotten toenail? This is a serious one ;)?

Yes, it does. My brother had a fungus and took lamasil. It took some time but it worked. Lamasil has been known to cause liver problems. If you take it by the mouth make sure you get your blood checked regularly.

P.S. The doctor told him to change his socks twice a day to keep the fungus away ... serious! He also suggested that he wear 100% cotton socks because they are breathable. People do not realize how badly their feet sweat and funguses love warm, moist areas on the body.Does that Lamasil stuff really work if you have a rotten toenail? This is a serious one ;)?
So I heard, it just takes forever sometimes up to a year and a half even with regular use. It's worth a try if ya got rotten toenails.Does that Lamasil stuff really work if you have a rotten toenail? This is a serious one ;)?
yeah, but it's damn expensive...

thanks for the heads up...was about to give you a dumbass answer lol
yes it will work - have a look at the main website which gives you lots of advice.

If you leave your fungal growth it won't just go you have to treat it!!
I had a really rotten toenail for about a year. Here is what to do: Go out and buy some Epsom Salt. Twice a day, use the Lamasil (it does work), coating the nail, and around the edges. Once a day fill a small tub with luke-warm (not hot) water, and a spoon-full of Epsom salt. Soak the toe in the tub for 20 minutes, once every day.

The problem will go away in about 2-3 weeks.

P.S. sorry for answering a question on ';women's health';, it's just that I can relate to this!
If it caused by a fungal infection, yes. The Lamasil tablets will work better than the Lamasil cream. Still, you will have to take the tablets for the correct duration, and it may take months to see results.
